Rafting Tour On River Struma

MIEL can offer its guests an extreme experience while in Sofia. This is whitewater rafting on the river Struma. It is the sixth longest river in Bulgaria and is about 130 km. away from Sofia. If you are interested in such an adventure we will transfer you and your friends to the Kresna Gorge where you will be instructed on the main rules of rafting. The necessary equipment will be offered and all you can do is to enjoy the breathtaking get down the river.

After the rafting and rest in the camp, you will be offered a picnic lunch with delicious Bulgarian wine. Transfer back to Sofia and your hotel.

Requirements: Swimming Skills;

Length of the descending: Depends on the water level (approx. 10 km);
Grade: From 2 to 4+, according to six-point International scale grading;
Boat: Professional 6 and 8-seater rafting boats;
