First you will make a short sightseeing tour in the central part of the city. You will see the main highlights of Sofia.
Then you will visit the National Historical Museum, spectacularly set at the foot of the mountain Vitosha in part of the former dictator Todor Zhivkov's residence. The 22 000 exhibits show the development of the social, cultural and political life on the territory of Bulgaria. Amongst the most spectacular exhibits are the unique gold treasures from Panagyurishte and the Thracian silver from Rogozen, as well as silver and bronze jewelery from the Bronze Age.
Next, you head to the Boyana Church which is included in the UNESCO World heritage List. The church /its frescoes/ is considered one of Bulgaria's most significant historical treasures. Set among tall pine trees, this church dates back to the 11th century. It has been recently restored and now visitors can admire the unique frescoes which are a remarkable example of realistic art from that era.
After that you will visit Vitosha Mountain. There you can enjoy some spectacular bird’s eye view to the city. A wonder of nature known as Stone River is near to the place called Golden Bridges. It’s a piling up of huge boulders, slope down the mountain.
Transfer to a traditional style restaurant where you will have a delicious dinner. Live music and performance of Bulgarian traditional dancers will make the dinner an unforgettable experience.
